EXTRA: I got my security clearance!

I am incredibly tickled to share with you that I was granted top security on Tuesday! With this, chances are that I will be joining the May class at FSI. Problem 1 for Year 2011 solved!

  1. Congratulations! This is a big hurdle and you have made it. I just took my Bangla language exam today...so maybe, *if I pass*, I will join you, after clearances on the consular register!

  2. Actually, I know who gave you the exam! I hope it all went well! Let me know--oddly, I am thinking of taking the exam myself to substitute for Russian (very complicated story why).

  7. Oh wow- I guess the FS DOS world is a small circle when it comes down to people knowing people :) especially involving Bengali. Congrats again....I am waiting, very patiently to get my results next week.

  8. Congratulations! I too received my clearance this week though not through such "divine" intervention. I'm likely to receive a call up for the May class as well. If you have a crystal ball that shows the upcoming bid list, I would surely join you!
